Do you work with multiple monitors? Then we’ve got good news. MultiPress now offers far more flexible screen layouts, and you’ll notice the difference right away.
Until recently, MultiPress on Windows used a so-called “container” system. This meant all windows opened within one large main window, which could only be placed on a single screen. As a result, it wasn’t possible to keep your planning view open on one monitor while managing your order information on another.
That changes with the latest version.
We’ve moved away from the container model. Now, each MultiPress window opens independently, giving you complete freedom to organise your workspace across multiple screens.
Even better: MultiPress remembers where you placed your windows. If you always put your planning screen on your second monitor, it will be there again the next time you log in.
Key windows, such as the report generator, planning views, expedition planning, and preview layouts (e.g. quotations), now open in a standard size rather than full screen. Adjust the size, and MultiPress will remember your preference.
Mac users have never worked with a container, so this change is less visible. However, there is one major improvement: MultiPress now remembers window positions on macOS as well – a long-standing request we’re happy to deliver.
If you work with multiple monitors, this update will immediately improve your daily workflow. More overview, more control – and a workspace that adapts to you.
