Send a subcontractor request directly from your estimate

Send a subcontractor request directly from your estimate

Sending a subcontractor request is now faster and requires fewer steps...

No separate module required anymore

Previously, you first had to leave the estimating module and then open the Subcontractor Request module. There, you had to create and send the request separately.

These extra steps are no longer necessary when you want to send a request from a single estimate to a single supplier. All relevant information from the estimate is immediately used to generate the request.

In the Subcontractors tab of an estimate, you will now find an additional button that allows you to generate a subcontractor request immediately. You can then send the request directly to the supplier by email.

How does it work?

  1. Open the desired estimate.

  2. Go to the Subcontractors tab.

  3. Select the relevant subcontractor.

  4. Click the button to generate the request.

  5. Review the information and send the request by email.

This allows you to stay within the same workflow and continue working on your estimate more quickly.

When should you still use the separate module?

Do you want to send multiple requests for the same project to different suppliers at the same time? If so, you should still use the Subcontractor Request module.

For a single request, you can now work directly from the estimate.
